On a completely different-than-usual note, people who know me well will probably be able to point out to you at least three things I truly enjoy that aren’t directly related to my vocation:

1. Music,
2. Bicycles,
3. and Baseball.

After total domination of the New York Yankees, the Texas Rangers are going to the World Series for the first time ever.

I love being that guy who everyone calls when big things happen in Texas baseball. I love that my dad bought me a stack of hometown papers without any prompting from me. I love that I still remember the intense pain of being 11 and watching the Rangers be effortlessly eliminated from their first post-season series ever. I love that my wife watched 50+ baseball games this year and is the most hilarious color commentator I know.

This is going to be so fun.
